The Trojan Women Project, an international program from La MaMa Theatre/New York is now in Kosovo, in partnership with Artpolis- Art and Community.
Within this project we will make the Public Presentation of workshop achievements of “Trojan Women” at EtnoFest spaces in Kukaj village, September 09 (Saturday) from 19:00.
The audience will be exposed to new musical elements, dance and stories which will be finalized within the performance.
Participats of this workshop are also national and international well-known artists, like: Ilire Vinca, Anisa Ismajli, Kushtrim Qerimi,Aurita Agushi, Sheqerie Buqaj,Lulzim Bucolli, Flutur Mustafa, Qendresa Kajtazi, Edlir Gashi, Fisnik Sykaj, Daniela Markaj, and many young artists like: Fjolla Hana, Skender Podvorica, Redon Kika, Alban Goranci, Edon Shileku, Margarita Ukaj.
Dozens of professional artists and musicians from Serbian community are involved in the workshop and practically are implementing parts from “Trojan Women” play.
The Project is going to run through the year and will culminate with the presentation in May 2018 at Femart festival of The Trojan Women (the play) performed by an extended group of Kosovo artists from the various communities.
